We provide services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There are several different shift options that may be available to suit your work and personal schedule. See below for current openings as well as how to complete an application.
Benefits may include: health insurance, KPERS, Cafeteria Plan, and paid leave (vacation, sick, and personal). We offer a $2 differential pay for hours worked between 3:30 pm on Friday and 4:30 pm on Sunday.

Best Life Community Services is accepting applications for substitutes to work in the absence of support staff, and/or cover vacant positions until full time coverage is secured. Substitutes will work with people with developmental disabilities, performing day-to-day activities in the home or workplace, and by accessing the community for special events. Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Pay will range from $16-18.50 per hour. Substitute staff are required and paid to attend training both initially and annually.

RESIDENTIAL SUPPORTED LIVING STAFF (2 Positions Open)
JOB QUALIFICATIONS A High School Diploma or G.E.D. 1 year experience may be substituted for required education if the experience developed or utilized skills appropriate for the position.
STARTING WAGE $17.50
BENEFITS Eligible to participate in the Agency Sponsored Health Care, Agency's Cafeteria Plan or TSA Plan.

HOURS Wednesday 6:30 am - 11:00 am and 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Thursday 6:30 am - 11:00 am and 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Friday 6:30 am - 11:00 am and 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Saturday 6:30 am - 11:00 am and 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Sunday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Monday 6:30 am - 11:00 am and 2:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Tuesday 6:30 am - 11:00 am and 2:00 pm - 5:30 pm
JOB SUMMARY The Residential Supported Living Staff supports and instructs persons served according to individualized service plans through daily living activities and household responsibilities and implement methods to meet the needs of the individual served.
